WE'RE COMING TO PUBLIC TELEVISION!

We're extremely excited to announce that we'll be coming to public television beginning in November 2011. The dates and times will depend on the local PBS stations, but as of now, we can announce the following dates and times:

WNET (New York's Channel 13) on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 29th, at 10 pm, with a repeat on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 1st, at 3 am.

WLIW (Long Island's Channel 21) on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 1st, at 8 pm, with repeats on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 4th, at 10 pm; TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6th, at 3 am; and THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8th at 12 am.

NJN (the New Jersey Network) on THURSDAY, December 8th, at 8 pm.

Rocky Mountain PBS (KRMA) on MONDAY, DECEMBER 26th, at 9 pm.

KCET (Los Angeles) on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 30th, at 10 pm.

The following stations will also be airing "The Pit" in the next few months, so keep checking this site for exact dates and times: KQED (San Francisco), KTCA (St. Paul/Minneapolis), WNED (Buffalo), WPBA (Atlanta), and PBS Hawaii.

Thanks so much for your continued support and interest in the film. We are working to get "The Pit" seen on as many screens as possible, from movie theaters and televisions to iPads and iPhones. In exciting news, we are currently negotiating with Netflix to make the film available through their instant streaming video service. To make this happen, please add us to your Netflix queue -- just type in "The Pit" into the search field, and we're one of the top listings. (Presently we're listed as a 2009 documentary instead of 2010, but that will be corrected and yes, that's us, not the 1981 horror film.) And please drum up support by getting your friends and family to add us too -- the more queues we wind up on, the sooner we will be available via Netflix and playing in your home!
